FAQ

We are a live action entertainment facility, specifically an escape room.

Its an entertainment experience with a twist. You are not passively being entertained you must engage with the room to figure out what you need to do to solve the room. It is a themed room, often with a story, that contains a variety of puzzles necessary to solve the room and get out. 

Don’t worry. The Fire Marshals are very particular about locking people in rooms they can't get out of so you are able to leave the room at any time. Some of the themes may not involve escaping the room so much as completing the challenge in time so you may not even need to unlock the door. 

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking time. You will need time to read and sign the release form, pay, and receive any instructions that may be specific to your puzzle room. 

Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and an open mind are what you need. No advanced mathematics knowledge necessary!  

While there is no minimum age, many of the puzzles would be too difficult for someone under 12. Sometimes though an unusual way of thinking is exactly what a puzzle needs so while an entire group of younger people may not solve the room, having one in your group would not be a detriment. If you are unsure please ask; at any given time there may be one or two rooms that are more or less suitable for younger players and we can guide your choice.

You may cancel your booking with no penalty but please give us as much notice as you can so we have the opportunity to re-book the room. 

Our rooms range have a maximum of 6-10 players depending on the room. You do not need to fill the room to book a room. All of our rooms are private, you will not be grouped with anyone else. 

We accept Visa, MC, debit and cash 

Each room runs at various times during the day. If you want to play a specific room you will be limited to the times it is offered. Our on-line booking system makes it very easy to search for a specific room or time so please take a look to see what is available. 

You may make multiple bookings at once but we don’t recommend playing multiple rooms back to back. You may be mentally exhausted after your time. You may, however, do whatever you wish and if you want to play rooms back to back you can do so. 

The rooms may differ depending on current themes and puzzles but most games will run 60 minutes. Please check the information on the room you have booked for run times. You will need to arrive 15 minutes early though and there will be post game picture taking etc. so please budget your time accordingly.  

Don’t worry if you don’t solve the room. While it is definitely possible, it must be difficult enough to be a challenge that won’t be solved in mere minutes. This means that you may get close but not quite finish. Please ask about our promotions for redoing a room. 

In general, no. The physical size of the room and the number of puzzles limits how many people can play a particular game. However The Contestants can be modified for additional people if you request it ahead of time.

Cell phones are wonderful but these puzzles are meant to be solved with no brains other than the ones in the room. Pictures of the rooms are also not allowed to be taken so the puzzles are not spoiled for others and this is how we monitor this rule. There are also strong magnets in most of the rooms that may not be good for electronics or credit cards. 

There are locked closets for each group to secure all their belongings, including coats. 

You are free to leave the room at any time for any reason but game play will not be stopped. 

Everything you need to solve the room  will be found in your room.  If you need glasses please bring them!

We do have a small party room that can be requested for an additional fee.
